Belle Vernon Area continues winning in convincing fashion.
The Leopards stretched their winning streak to four by scoring 28 points in the first half and shutting down Trinity in a 48-7 win in Big 8 Conference play at Hiller Stadium.
BVA (5-1, 4-1) has outscored its opponents, 215-30, over its winning streak. The Leps have scored at least 40 points in four straight games and in all of their wins this season.
“I’m proud of the way our kids fought through and I’m proud of their toughness,” BVA head coach Matt Humbert said. “As cliche as it sounds, it was a good team win.”
