Hundreds of Charleroi Area Middle School students had fun getting a little messy Friday morning during the second annual Color Run.
The colorful fundraiser, which is open only to middle school students, began early Friday morning.
Students who participated received T-shirts and various prizes depending on the amount of money they were able to raise. Students had to collect at least $30 to participate.
Prizes ranged from colorful sunglasses to bandannas, Frisbees, extra color powder, rainbow feather boas and color blasters.
After gearing up in their most colorful attire, students packed together at the starting line underneath an inflatable arch designed specifically for the run.
