Serra rallies to beat S. Allegheny

Serra Catholic scored 21 unanswered points en route to a 21-17 victory over South Allegheny in Three Rivers Conference play Friday night.
Trailing 17-0 in the third quarter, Jayvon Holt rushed for a 48-yard touchdown to cut Serra’s deficit to 17-7.
Ray Holmes added a 4-yard rushing score before catching a 26-yard touchdown pass from Max Rocco to complete the Serra (4-4, 2-3) rally.
South Allegheny (3-5, 2-3) scored 10 points in the second quarter after a scoreless first. Antonio Epps brought int a 10-yard touchdown pass from Jett James before Logan Hamilton knocked down a 25-yard field goal to give the Gladiators a 10-0 halftime lead.
