Cookie record not yet official

In August, the World’s Largest Wedding Cookie Table established a Guinness world record in Monongahela with 88,425 cookies.
The effort to finalize the paperwork to ensure the record for posterity is still happening, and those who baked for the record-setting event are being asked for just a smidge more help.
Laura Magone and Martha Muniz, also organizers of the Monongahela 250th celebration that was capped off by the cookie table record, have spent hours since August going through the paperwork.
The Guinness organization has told the local organizers that this has been one of its most complicated events to make sure all details are correct.
