Game of the Week: Bears, Jayhawks for first place

From all corners of Class A, it just seemed from the start it would come down to this.
Jeannette vs. Clairton.
The winner will win the Eastern Conference title and, in all probability, earn the top seed in the upcoming playoffs. And, quite possibly, this game could be a preview to the Class A title game down the line.
Since 2006, Clairton has won nine WPIAL crowns while the Jayhawks have won two, including one in 2A. Jeannette ended a run of three straight Clairton crowns by winning the title in 2017.
The Jayhawks (9-0, 5-0) travel to Neil Brown Stadium to meet the host Bears (7-2, 5-0) in a 7 p.m. showdown tonight.
