Serra Catholic falls short in quarterfinal loss to Beaver

A WPIAL championship wasn’t in the cards for the Eagles. Serra Catholic’s quest came up short in the quarterfinals with a 3-1 loss to Beaver on Tuesday night at Peters Township High School.
A dominant front row for the Bobcats gave the Eagles fits throughout the night. Serra Catholic couldn’t dig its way out of a commanding performance by Beaver standout Payton List and her fellow sophomore Kylie Hazela, along with the rest of the Bobcats attack.
