Fast start critical for underdog Eagles

Serra Catholic has no problem being labeled as the underdog. In fact, they embrace it.
The 13th-seeded Eagles will face off against fourth-seeded Neshannock in the first round of the WPIAL Class 2A playoffs.
Serra Catholic doesn’t fashion itself as some sort of longshot. They expect to give the Lancers everything they can handle.
“We definitely come in with a chip on our shoulder,” said Eagles’ coach Jose Regus. “We kind of feel like it’s good to be the underdog and we want to be known as that team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs.”
