The moment that Rori Schreiber stepped foot on West Liberty’s campus, she knew she was home.
Since then, there was no changing Schreiber’s mind. She was going to spend her next four years in West Virginia.
The Bentworth senior soccer standout solidified her future as a Hilltopper and made it official on Monday, signing her national letter of intent to continue her academic and soccer careers at West Liberty.
Schreiber is the fifth female soccer player from Bentworth to play collegiate soccer.
“As soon as I walked onto the campus I knew I was going to go there. It’s so beautiful and it feels just like home,” said Schreiber, who chose West Liberty over the likes of Alderson Broaddus and Appalachian State. “The girls soccer team already feels like my family and they were so welcoming. They also have one of the best Physician’s Assistant programs around and that is what I really want to pursue. It’s just a great environment and I can picture myself being there for the next couple of years.”
