For the past 10 years Charlene Poziviak has volunteered her time on Thanksgiving Day.
This year, she will be on the clock at the hospital instead of filling the bellies of those in a homeless shelter, but still has managed to make sure three area families are fed this Thanksgiving.
Earlier this month, she made a Facebook post hoping her social media friends could help point her in the direction of families in need.
“I have always tried to volunteer and give back,” she said. “But since I started working at the hospital two years ago, I am not usually off work for the holidays but still wanted to make sure I could do my part.”
