Dream comes true with classic truck

For Perryopolis resident Tonya Joseph, Christmas arrived almost two months early this year.
And instead of riding in a red sleigh, Santa Claus arrived in a red 1953 Ford farm truck.
A housewife who lives with her husband, Jeff, and their two daughters Annabella, 16, and Gabriella, 13, Joseph has had a life-long passion for classic cars and trucks.
Growing up, she developed an obsession for the antique Ford farm truck, and owning one became a mission for her and her husband.
And now that they own the classic vehicle, they’re spreading the cheer by decorating the truck with Christmas lights, doing photo shoots and taking the truck to local senior living centers with Jeff dressed as Santa Claus.
“My grandfather always tinkered with cars,” Joseph recalled about how she developed a love of cars. “He was always selling cars and trucks. I love old antiques. They remind you of a simpler time.”
