Gladiators drop Titans, 55-33

South Allegheny’s boys basketball team has made it crystal clear that it’s much better than last year.
When everything is clicking, the offense is smooth and dynamic and the defense is staunch.
Even not playing its best after an eight-day layoff, South Allegheny started slow but still easily handled West Mifflin beating the Titans, 55-33, to close play on the opening night of the Gladiators’ tournament to improve to 8-0 on the season.
“We’re not good enough to just walk in and beat teams, but even if we play a little sluggish, we know we still might have an advantage at some point,” said Gladiators guard Antonio Epps.
