During the busy Christmas season, there’s nothing sweeter than being reminded of what this time of year is really about.

That’s what Belle Vernon Area Middle School students will aim to accomplish with its production of “The Little Town of Christmas.”

As a way to remind the community of the simpler times of Christmas and true spirit of the holiday, 24 students will portray various Christmas “vignettes” for audiences and perform short and festive songs and dance numbers.

The production will run at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and will last for an hour and a half, complete with a 15-minute intermission. During the break, Christmas cookies will be sold.
