McKeesport secures 48-27 win over Belle Vernon Area

McKeesport’s wrestling team picked up a 48-27 road win at Belle Vernon Area Monday night in Class 3A, Subsection 2A action.
The Tigers won four of the six matches contested on the mat and also secured five of the eight forfeits.
The bout started at 145 pounds and McKeesport’s Ross Weimer gave his team some early excitement and a 6-0 advantage with a pin over Jake Thompson 1:15 into the first period.
