To help offset any financial stressors for the family of Tyler Garrity, a family friend has organized a restaurant benefit in honor of the Monongahela teen.
From open to close on Jan. 27 at Max & Erma’s in McMurray, 10% of all bills from food or beverages purchased from the dining room, bar or for takeout will go directly to the family.
Garrity, the son of Kimberlee Mellinger Garrity and Scott Bartolotta and William Garrity and Danielle White, was killed in a dirt bike accident last month. He was 17 years old.
Tyler was a junior at Ringgold High School, where he played football and was enrolled in a carpentry program at the Mon Valley Career and Technology Center in Charleroi.
