Louis M. Offerman Sr., 92, of Charleroi, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on Sept. 16, 1927, a son of the late Dirk and Gerritje Raatsie Offerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude deBruin Offerman, on Sept. 14, 2012; and one daughter, Lucy Fetterman; along with three sisters and a brother. He is survived by three children, Ingrid Humphrey of Charleroi, Louis (Christie) Offerman of Carroll Township and Mary Campbell of Fayette City; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, Pa., 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Blais of Calvary Bible Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
