Employee injured in New Eagle accident

An employee at a New Eagle industrial company was taken by helicopter to a hospital after getting his leg caught in an industrial mixer Friday morning.
The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating after the incident at mineral-blending industrial company Therm-O-Rock East Inc., according to Washington County Fire and EMS dispatch.
The man, who remains unidentified, was working at the Pine Street company. He was flown to the hospital via helicopter before noon, according to the dispatch.
OSHA Area Director Chris Robinson said representatives were on site to begin investigations.
