For new parents, bringing a newborn baby home is an exciting time to be cherished, but it comes with big responsibilities: making sure your house is baby-proofed, reading up on proper hygiene and using only the best baby formula and food.
But would you know what to do if your baby unexpectedly stopped breathing?
Thanks to an ongoing course at Jefferson Hospital, parents, grandparents and babysitters can learn the important role of infant CPR to prepare them if a situation arises when an infant needs to be resuscitated.
“Baby 911” is a one-day class designed for parents and caregivers to develop skills in infant and child CPR and receive current safety recommendations.
