Again the Heaven bound train stopped in the Valley and the Angels beckoned Jerome L. McDavis, 56, of Clairton, to get on board on Feb. 7, 2020, after a battle with cancer. He was born on Aug. 24, 1963, to Mary E. McDavis and the late James E. McDavis Sr. Jerome leaves behind his sisters, Derone Burrows, Deborah Norfleet and Joann Bullard; and brothers, Daryl E, Vance C. and Shawn L. McDavis. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by Cedra Witkowski, James E. Jr. and Paul E. McDavis. Viewing will be at HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, with the service starting at noon with Bishop James Foster as eulogist. Interment at Fells Cemetery. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, 724-379-5420, Karl Jackson, funeral director.
