Herbert D. Pelzer, 75, of North Charleroi, passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020. Born on Jan. 17, 1945, he was the son of the late Joseph and Zella McGrady Pelzer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired as a manager for Lucent Technologies. Herbert is survived by his longtime companion, Linda Hopton; daughters, Jodi (Tracy) Sealy, Eugenia (Robert) Kirk and Rebecca (Bryan) Black, all of Texas; grandchildren, Kory, Megan, Zoe, Jenna, Jacob and Gavin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Albert, Victor, Charles and Robert; and sisters, Marlene and Janet. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, Feb. 29, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
