Almost 12 years ago, Gina Lynn was named the executive director of the Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce.
Under her leadership, the chamber expanded and grew and recently changed its name to the Twin Rivers Chamber of Commerce.
Lynn brought an energetic work ethic and a flair for having fun to the chamber through her work, which included numerous successful events.
However, her days guiding the chamber are coming to an end.
Lynn, of Rostraver Township, recently accepted the position of marketing and fundraising manager for Washington County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Kids of Washington County. She begins the newly created position March 2.
CASA for Kids, Washington is a local nonprofit organization that trains community members to become Court Appointed Special Advocates, who will speak in the best interest of abused and neglected children in the Courts of Washington.
“I have always cared deeply and participated in as many events as I could for the betterment of children,” Lynn said. “It is something that is near and dear to my heart. So, I’m very excited to be in a position to help children in any way I can. Still, I’m a little nervous too because it is a new adventure in my life.”
