The Belle Vernon Area School Board approved more than $2.2 million for building and equipment during a virtual meeting Tuesday.
The meeting was held via Zoom and the public was able to watch.
Comments and questions for the board were accepted prior to the meeting. A video will be posted online today.
The spending is part of a $3.8 million program, which will be funded by a recent bond issue, intended to extend the useful life of district assets as well as to provide updated facilities to meet modern needs.
The biggest contract was awarded to AB Specialties.
The project will replace old windows at Marion Elementary School, Belle Vernon Area Middle School and the former Rostraver Middle School.
