Doug VanMoorsel hasn’t played his last football game.
A 6-5, 320-pounder and four-year starter on California University’s offensive line, VanMoorsel will be playing in the Canadian Football League.
He was a fourth round pick of the defending Grey Cup champion Hamilton Tiger Cats in this week’s draft.
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity,” said VanMoorsel, who played tackle the past two seasons after being a guard as a freshman and sophomore.
A graduate of Niagara on the Lake in Ontario, VanMoorsel is no stranger to the CFL.
“When I was a young boy, I went to some of their games and enjoyed them,” he claimed. “Hamilton is only 45 minutes from my hometown.”
