Walter Rockwell – Maryville, Tenn., formerly of North Charleroi and Carroll Township

Walter Rockwell, 91, of Maryville, Tenn., formerly of North Charleroi and Carroll Township, passed on to his eternal resting place on April 21. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Herron; parents, Walter and Jessie Schwer Rockwell; and brother, Bob. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth Hanson, with whom he had resided; and son, Richard and his life partner Rodolfo “Rodgee” S. Cao of Bloomfield, N.J. Also left to mourn his loss are grandchildren, Jessica Sobie (Eric) of Erie, Colo. and Kevin Hanson (Kali) of Maryville, Tenn.; and great-grandchildren, Kinley and Korbin Hanson and Paisley Sobie, as well as many step-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren in Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Rockwell and Norva Lewis, both of Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held in Pa. at a later date.
