Trojans’ Ramsey reaps All-State honor

For the second straight season, California High’s Malik Ramsey finds himself with an All-State honor.
The Trojans’ senior took a step up the ladder this season, earning second-team All-State honors, chosen by Pennsylvania sportswriters.
Ramsey, who averaged 22.5 points per game for the Trojans this season, led his team to the WPIAL playoffs. In his final game, a first-round loss to Shenango, Ramsey finished with 34 points.
He ended his career with 1,277 points.
Ramsey was a Mon Valley Independent-BeeGraphix Super 6 first-team honoree in each of the last two seasons.
