Marjorie Ann Matty, 98, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Rogan Cain. Marjorie was a graduate of Monongahela High School and the Douglas School of Business in Monessen. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela and its Altar Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Matty of Florida and Thomas Matty (Terri Ruggeri) of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren, Zachary Matty, Ian (Kate) Matty and Nicholas Matty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Domenick Matty, who died April 22, 1977; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Matty; and a sister, Grace Cain. Private visitations and funeral services were held at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. Interment was in the Monongahela Cemetery.
