George Stephen ‘Chick’ Andrachek – Monessen

George Stephen Andrachek passed away on Aug. 20, 2020, in his home. Stephen was born in Monessen to George and Christine Andrachek in 1950. He worked for U.S. Steel, served in the U.S. Air Force, then was employed by the Department of Environmental Protection. “Chick” enjoyed the outdoors and could be found fishing, hunting or shooting at gun ranges quite often. He also enjoyed listening to music. He is survived by his brother and sister, Mark Andrachek and wife Nancy of Virginia and Cheryl Murphey of Georgia. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Any donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul in Monessen.
