‘Tons’ of garbage being dumped in Charleroi

Charleroi Borough Council is seeking help from the public to identify a driver who is dumping contracting bags full of trash throughout town.
“There are tons of them,” Councilwoman Jeannine Motycki said. “We have been getting complaints for a while, but we have not been able to track them down.
“Some of these houses where he dumps have so many bags it looks like they just gutted their house, but we know the residents are not putting out that much trash.”
Motycki is asking residents who may see this person to take down a license plate number and call the borough building or police station.
“It’s a problem,” she said. “A big one. When we find out who this is, we have plans to prosecute them to the fullest extent.”
