Eleanor J. Farner, 86, of Mapleview, passed away peacefully Sept. 28, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born on Jan. 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Vinceti Donati and August Donati. Eleanor is a graduate of Burgettstown High School, Class of 1952. Surviving are sons, Chris (Linda) Farner of Mapleview and Eric Farner of Fallowfield Township; daughter-in-law, Beverly Farner of West Mifflin; brother, Richard (Janet) Donati of Latrobe; sister, Linda (Gordon) Hallof of Florida; grandsons, Evan Farner of Myrtle Beach, Brandon Farner of West Mifflin and Joshua (Alyssa) Farner of California, Pa.; granddaughter, Jade Farner of Mapleview; and great-granddaughters, Brenley and Brysen Farner of California, Pa. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, William Farner; son, Brad Farner; and her sister, Violet Robinson. At the request of Eleanor, there will be no public viewing and all services will be held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC. In lieu of flowers, Eleanor requests donations in Brenley Farner’s name be made to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation c/o PNC Bank P.O.
