State police are searching for two suspects who robbed a gas station convenience store at gunpoint in North Belle Vernon early Friday morning.
In a public information release posted to Twitter, Trooper Robert Broadwater said investigators at the Belle Vernon barracks are working to identify two “fine gentlemen who robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store.”
Broadwater said surveillance footage shows males robbing the store, which is located at 3 Fayette Ave., near the North Belle Vernon Interstate 70 on-and off-ramps.
“Both are Black males with one being light skinned,” the trooper said.
Images from the surveillance footage show one of the males was dressed in all black and wearing a camouflage face mask. The other male, also dressed in all black, was wearing a hoodie with an Under Armour logo on the chest. Both males were wearing gloves.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call state police in Belle Vernon at 724-929-6262.
