Mary E. ‘Betty’ Adams – Mount Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Belle Vernon

Mary E. “Betty” Adams, 98, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away on Dec. 3, 2020, in the Laurels of Mt. Vernon. She was born in Belle Vernon on March 20, 1922, daughter of the late Lee and Mary Braun Roberts. Catholic by faith, she was a member of St. Sebastian Church of Belle Vernon. She graduated from Rostraver High School, where she had been a cheerleader. Mary was also an accomplished pianist. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Rousseau, Frank Maund and Bob Adams; and brothers and sisters, Vernie, Nell, Ida Lee, Colletta, Loretta, Jimmy, Jack, Alvin and Mary Ann. Surviving are her sons, Dennis Rosseau of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Robert and wife Susan Rosseau of Speers; grandchildren, Robert, Dennis, Helen, Michelle and Eric; and great-grandchildren, Donna, Kenny, Devin and Daniel. Also surviving are nephews, Kerry Roberts, Ray Popp and Hubert and Maxine Maxwell; lifelong friend, Roy Heckenbaugh; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Private funeral services were entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen. Burial was held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
