Michael S. Kelemen III – Rostraver Township

By obits

Michael S. Kelemen III, 83, of Rostraver Township, passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born on May 26, 1937, in Monessen, son of the late Michael S. and Veronica Teska Kelemen. After graduating from Monessen High School in 1955, he served in the U.S. Army for two years. After returning, he worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in Monessen until the mill closed. He then had several millwright positions until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of The Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township. Mike, otherwise known as “Mickey” by his close friends, was a kind, gentle, soft-spoken man who loved his family over everything else. He would tell you that his pride and joy was the love of his late wife, Alva Rudolph Kelemen, whom he married on June 6, 1964, along with his three children and six grandchildren. Anyone who knew Mike would tell you that he was a hard worker who took pride in all that he did. He had the best advice, kind words for everyone and would always have a joke ready to make you laugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alva, in 2012. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Debbie (Frank) Berarducci of West Newton, son, Michael P. (Tara) Kelemen of Donora, and daughter, Michele L. (Keith) Conte of Rostraver Township; six grandchildren, Domenick, Franki and Jessi Berarducci and Jordan Kelemen, Ashley and Alaina Conte; a brother, Robert Kelemen of Rostraver Township; his kitty and numerous relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Family and friends are invited to the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at The Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township, with the Rev. David J. Nazimek officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. Please note that only 10 people will be permitted inside the funeral home at a time and everyone is required to wear a face mask and social distance. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
