By obits

Andrea Martin, 69, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on March 8, 1952, in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Frank and Lorraine Bridge Maiolini. Andrea was a lifelong resident of Monessen, a graduate of Monessen High School and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. She was retired from the Charleroi School District, where she worked as a student aide, and had previously worked for Dr. Ralph Palmer as his receptionist. Andrea loved camping and caring for her late son, Jason. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed watching games with Jason. Andrea’s one vice was a Pepsi with lots of ice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason, on Nov. 9, 2020. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ryan Martin of Rostraver Township; a brother, Jeff Maiolini of Monessen; and her niece, Paige Maiolini of Fayette City. A private viewing was held followed by a blessing and funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Father Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment followed in Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
