MVI moving to new office

By Mon Valley Independent

We’re moving!

To better serve our customers, the Mon Valley Independent is moving its office to a new location at 1719 Grand Blvd. in Monessen’s Park Center Plaza.

The new office officially opens at 8 a.m. Monday.

The Mon Valley Independent recently celebrated its fifth anniversary after opening in 2016 with its headquarters at 996-998 Donner Ave. The newspaper has continued to grow and signed a lease for space in Park Center Plaza.

The office has undergone renovations to accommodate advertising, circulation and editorial staff members. The plaza is home to several local businesses and has ample parking for customers.

Members of the newsroom staff will also be working from the Tube City Center for Business and Innovation building, former home of the Daily News building in McKeesport.

“The Mon Valley Independent has been a proud member of this community and the entire Mon Valley and moving to a new location is an exciting opportunity for us,” said Mon Valley Independent board member Nazareth Victoria. “We are thrilled to find a new office that keeps us in the city and close to our Mon Valley communities.”

Our business hours will remain the same: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, subscription, advertising or editorial inquiries, call our main number at 724-314-0030.

We look forward to continuing to serve the Mon Valley as its only true, local newspaper for many years to come.
