Mary Rosick Crum – Wheeling, W.Va.
Mary Rosick Crum, 59, of Wheeling, W.Va., went home to her Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021, holding her husband’s hand and surrounded by family. Born on May 27, 1962, in Charleroi, she was the daughter of John C. Rosick, Sr. and the late Mary L. Krupka Rosick. Mary graduated from Charleroi High School in 1980 and continued her education with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1985, graduating summa cum laude. She began her career at Michael Baker International, where she was loved by many who became lifelong friends and where she advanced to her most recent position as associate vice president. Mary lived her Catholic faith daily with caring, compassion, humility and love. She lived life to the fullest with baking, gardening, biking, kayaking, tennis, skiing and a passion that she enjoyed the most — spoiling her nieces and nephews. In addition to her dad, Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Dr. Edward W. Crum; stepchildren, Alex Crum of Morgantown, W.Va., and Chelsea Crum of Wheeling, W.Va.; brothers, James Rosick and wife Debora of Round Hill, Va., and Richard Rosick and wife Christine of Fallowfield Township; sisters, Lynda Misra of Upper St. Clair and Kathleen Chaudhari and husband Atul of Peters Township; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Cole and Olivia Rosick, Nikhil and Angelina Misra and Sarah, Samantha, Ian and Anna Chaudhari; her aunt, Irene Kristakis and husband John of Dormont; and numerous cousins. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, John C. Rosick Jr.; aunt, Jean Magiske; and nephew, Deven Chaudhari. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi, celebrated by the Rev. Kevin Dominik.
