Kreis’ 29 carries Edward Jones over Monessen Florist

Through two games in the Mon Valley Independent Summer Basketball League, Viva Kreis has already made a monumental impact for Edward Jones.
After sitting out last summer, Kreis made her MVISBL debut on June 30, scoring a team-high 19 points with seven rebounds and six assists in a win over Lee Supply.
Her encore was just as impressive Monday as the Belle Vernon Area junior hit six 3-pointers on her way to a 29-point showing in a 53-46 victory over Monessen Florist at Marx’s Court Time Sports Center.
“She just makes such a big difference,” Edward Jones coach Larry Cash said. “It’s been two years since she’s played for me and I really missed that. I’m glad to have her.”
