Monongahela Area Historical Society’s Longwell House opens 5 days a week

A lot of preservation and restoration work is being done on The Longwell House on West Main Street in Monongahela.

But, thanks to volunteers, the Monongahela Area Historical Society is opening the doors of the historic house for more than 20 hours per week in hopes that history buffs from near and far will stop by for a tour of the 149 year old home or to shop in the gift shop.
