Jean Sickman – New Eagle
Jean Sickman, 87, of New Eagle, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Gallatin, daughter of Andrew and Annie Frankso Roman. Jean was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. She formerly worked as a waitress for the Allegheny Club at the Three Rivers Stadium. Jean retired from the Heinz Company in Pittsburgh where she worked for numerous years. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Andrew “Rick” Kruki III of Monongahela, Denise Iuni and husband Alex of Eighty Four and Albert Sickman Jr. of New Eagle; two grandchildren, Michael and Danielle Iuni; great-granddaughter, Alexa Marie; and two sisters, Ann Kelly, with whom she made her home and Pearl Roman of New Eagle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sickman Sr.; five brothers, Alexander, Andrew “Ace,” Peter, John “Boots” and Homer Roman; and three sisters, Margaret Lyons, Helen and Mary Roman. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.
