Allan Malcolm Lomax, 72, of Charleroi, sadly passed away Dec 9, 202l. Born on Sept. 11, 1949, in Charleroi, he was the son of the late James W. and Margie D. Lomax. Malcolm graduated from Donora High School in 1969. He was an all-around sportsman playing football, basketball and softball; an avid Steelers fan; and known for doing full body workouts. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and Malcom was a member of the Brothers of the Hammer Motorcycle Club, Washington, PA Chapter. He was a former employee at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel prior to his retirement. Malcolm was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Roberta “Bertie” Lomax; four daughters, Tracy Lomax of Donora, Tiffany (Christopher) Mead and Kami (Victor) Bubel of Florida, and Jennifer (Scott) Booker of Tennessee; two sons, Bryan Milligan of Washington and Alan Lomax of Monessen; and one stepdaughter, Ashley Kronemer of Charleroi; two brothers, Gregory “Pope” (Jackie) Lomax and Dennis Lomax, both of Donora; three sisters, Janice Lomax of California; Sharon (Chris) Wilson of Donora, and Lovette Davis of Monessen; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Affectionately called “Cruz” and “Yates” by some, Malcolm was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 541 Allen Ave., Donora. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a home-going service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark S. Tookes giving the eulogy. Interment will take place at Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
