Albert Jefferson Weathers Jr. – Monessen
Albert Jefferson Weathers Jr., 83, of Monessen, passed away on Jan. 4, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1938, to the late Albert and Mary Sekino Weathers in Homestead. Albert was a retired truck driver and was currently working for Securitas at World Kitchen in Charleroi. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 954. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Angeline DiMatteo Weathers; three daughters, Kimberly (Barry) Ober of Latrobe, Diane (Bradford) Beard of Louisiana and Allison (Larry) Harkins of Irwin; a son, Douglas (Deana) Weathers of Pleasant Hills; brother, Edward Weathers of Tennessee; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie and Dolly; and two brothers, Johnny and Bobby. A blessing service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Following the blessing service, friends will be received until 5 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will hold a service at 5 p.m. Entombment will be held at a later date.
