Defense key as TJ rolls by Ringgold

Playing a strong brand of defense has often created a winning formula for the Thomas Jefferson girls basketball team.
Wednesday night was no different.
The Jaguars, who are allowing just under 41 points per game this season, forced 14 turnovers in the opening 16 minutes and limited visiting Ringgold to eight first-half points en route to a 49-20 triumph in Section 3-5A play.
