Vulcans’ winning streak snapped with loss to UPJ

In a matchup that pitted the two of the top offenses in the PSAC, it was defense that was the determining factor late in a contest Wednesday night at the Convocation Center.
The Cal U men’s basketball team had a pair of chances in the final minute to either tie or take the lead, but Pitt-Johnstown’s defense stood tall and sealed a thrilling 71-70 setback for the Vulcans.
