Elizabeth Forward mulling how to spend emergency relief funds

The Elizabeth Forward School District may have increased flexibility in how officials choose to spend Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds as the COVID-19 health crisis enters its endemic phase. Pennsylvania received $523 million in ESSER funding since the COVID-19 pandemic started on March 13, 2020. At the school board’s agenda meeting Wednesday, Superintendent Dr. Todd Keruskin kicked off early talks on how to spend the next American Cares Act funding injection, ESSER 3.
