Few details made public about Charleroi borough manager’s separation agreement and resignation

Information regarding a previously confidential personnel issue that Charleroi Council voted on following a closed-door session last month has been made public, but officials are still releasing few details. During a voting meeting in January, council went into an executive session to discuss a personnel matter and took a vote on a motion that was not readily made available to the public. This week, it was announced that the matter involved a separation agreement and subsequent resignation of borough Manager Joe Manning, effective Jan. 12.
