Board members and local elected officials joined Port Authority of Allegheny County CEO Katharine Kelleman on Thursday for the ribbon cutting for the grand reopening of the McKeesport Transportation Center on Lysle Boulevard. From left are Port Authority board member Stephanie Turman, Allegheny County Councilman Bob Macey, McKeesport Mayor Michael Cherepko, Kelleman, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, state Sen. Jim Brewster and state Rep. Austin Davis. Davis and Brewster are also Port Authority board members.
“The Mon Valley’s brightest days are still ahead of us,” according to state Rep. Austin Davis, a Democrat from McKeesport and a Port Authority of Allegheny County board member.
