Charleroi VFD uses new rescue tool at vehicle crash

In it’s first day of operation, a new rescue tool purchased by the Charleroi Fire Department was put to good use when firefighters were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident in lower Speers early Wednesday morning.
Fire Chief Robert Whiten Jr. said the call for the accident with reported injuries at the intersection of Arentzen Boulevard and Guttman Avenue came in around 7:39 a.m.
