Redistricting affects some Senate districts

Most Valley communities will keep their current state Senate district, but some towns will move districts and some Senators will gain or lose communities following the redistricting process. Redistricting changes the legislative district boundaries in Pennsylvania, based on the 2020 census, for the next 10 years. State Sen. Pat Stefano, R-Bullskin Township, currently represents the 32nd Senatorial District in Pennsylvania. He will remain in the 32nd District, but the district itself will be different after this year’s elections.
