Robert ‘Robbie’ Calderone – Monessen

Robert “Robbie” Calderone, 36, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his home following an illness of several months. He was born in Carroll Township on June 27, 1985. Robbie was an avid sports fan who enjoyed fishing and watching football and basketball games. He played soccer in the Monessen Youth Soccer League and on the travel team. Robbie also played baseball in the Pony, Colt and Bronco Leagues and for the Monessen Greyhounds in high school, graduating in 2003. He is survived by his mother, Michelle Lorenz of Rostraver Township; his father, Ronald Calderone; his children, Ryder and Aliyah Calderone of Charleroi; sister, Ashley Matthews and her son, Tristin Yuille of Rostraver Township; an uncle, Richard Matthews of North Charleroi; and a step-grandfather, Edward Stanley of Rostraver Township. Robbie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rita Stanley; and maternal grandfather, Robert Matthews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in the funeral home with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. He will be laid to rest in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
