June 3 blood drive set for firefighter with leukemia

Glenn Wagner said he wouldn’t be alive today if not for people who donate blood. The 56-year-old owner of Wagner’s Restaurant and 27-year community servant has been battling leukemia for almost four years. Wagner started out as a firefighter and EMS worker with Forward Township in the mid-1990s and later joined Gallatin-Sunnyside after a short stint with Elizabeth Borough.
