It’s Etched in Stone: Remembering sports legends

I was just one of the millions of young boys who had visions of running 100 yards for the game-winning touchdown, or hitting a grand slam to win the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. Or, maybe the dream was to shoot the game-winning basket as the seconds ticked away on the game clock.
For the great majority of those boys, the dreams never materialize, but it was the beginning of a long and lasting relationship to the games that made our childhoods the exciting adventures they were.
