John Daniel Patrick ‘Dinky’ Cosner – Fort Myers, Fla.

John Daniel Patrick “Dinky” Cosner 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away from pulmonary fibrosis on May 16, 2022. He was the son of John “Tubby” and Mary Cosner. He was predeceased in death by his parents; his loving sister, Janice Wade; nephews, William Wade and Jason Wade; and his great-grandchildren, Sophia and Lillian Roberts and Blaise Odom. He is survived by the love of his life, Sarah Cosner; his children, Jennifer and her husband Robert Cosner, Everett Roberts and Paula Soto; grandchildren, Tara (Roberts) Shivinsky, Everett (E.J.) Roberts, Rachael (Roberts) Odom, Cassidy Soto, Felicity Cosner, Wesley Cosner and Rylund Cosner; great-grandchildren, Elise Shivinsky, Cecilia Shivinsky, Brinnleigh Roberts, Rhett Roberts, Asher Roberts, Roanin Odom, Vincent Odom, Korra Odom and Lincoln Odom; and loving cousins. Danny was born on Feb. 27, 1946, in North Charleroi, raised in Monessen, and lived in Fort Myers, Fla. After attending schooling through high school, he served in the United States Army Reserves from 1965 to 1971. He worked for Fox Groceries, numerous construction companies, Bocilla Island Club, Alden Pines Country Club and Captiva Island Club. Danny was a lifelong Steelers and Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gambling fun, bingo and especially having the time of his life with his family and friends. Dan never met a stranger and was one-of-a-kind.
